The National Meals on Wheels Network was delighted to hold a CHO 4 Regional Workshop hosted by Knocknagoshel Meals on Wheels Service in their Community Centre on Thursday 13th July 2023.
The event was attended by a number of local providers in the area, suppliers, ALONE, the HSE and Ben Keohane of Snap4Meals – a new loyalty app for MoW providers.
A short presentation was given by Catherine Lenihan of Knocknagoshel MoW & Ben Keohane of Snap4Meals. Tracey Noone, the Development Officer for the National Meals on Wheels Network spoke briefly about the network and opened up the workshop to input from the attendees. A frank and honest discussion was had covering a number of relevant issues to MoW providers who also had the opportunity to see the Meals on Wheels Facility in Knocknagoshel and network and share ideas with other providers.
A huge thanks goes to all who attended and to Catherine Lenihan, Chairperson and Director of Knocknagoshel Over 55’s Services, Ben Keohane of Snap4Meals and the staff and volunteers of the service who made us all feel very welcome and provided delicious homemade refreshments.
